School's out and Nick has left behind the Jr. High!
He will be going into High School (freshman) this
fall! I can't believe it! My little boy is growing
up sooooo fast!

Nick got to go on a bus trip to Cedar Pointe Amusement
Park with his class the last week of school. He
really had a great time! I on the other had was a
bundle of nerves waiting at home LOL

Nick's Annual Scans this spring showed that he is
still in remission! That's 6 years of remission,
and 7 years since the surgery to remove the brain
tumor! Nick is still receiving the growth hormone
shots each night and is still growing! He is up to
just a hair under 5 feet now! Yeah!!!!

Nick has also gotten a hearing aid upgrade to digital!
They help him hear so much clearer. We just had to
petition the insurance for them to approve the upgrade.
Nick's teacher wrote an awesome letter for us to
submit, along with the one from the audiologist.
I just wish we'd know about all this a long time ago!
There is sooooo much difference between regular and
digital. Wow!

This summer we are planning a vacation to a little
cabin by the lake, and a trip to Michigan's Adventure
Amusement park. Nick is counting down the days to that!

I am working hard to get this website upgraded and
updated. Please bear with me as I switch things around.
A lot of the old pages were on a free service and a
few have been deleted before I could save them =(
But I hope to have everything done within the next
month.
