Wow, it's been 7 months since I last updated.
Sorry folks.

Nick is doing great - he's 12 now! Where did
the time go? He will be starting Jr High this
fall at a new school. Big Adventures ahead!

Switching schools also means setting up a new
IEP and services for Nick. But it looks like
Nick will receive the extra help he needs and
really enjoy this move.

He will definately miss his friends and
teachers though at his old school. He's
been there since kindergarden and they have
supported and cheered him on thru his
illness and recovery. Thank you to everyone
at Vanguard Charter Academy.
You all are the best!

Nick is still in remission. It will be four
years this September! He now is sporting a
"new set of ears"! He received hearing aids
earlier this year and they have helped
tremendously!

A visit this past week to the Doc in charge of
Nick's growing went very well. Nick has grown
almost 3 inches since he started growth
hormone therapy a year ago! He is actually ON
the growth chart now ( at 3%). I think a year
ago he was off the bottom at -25%.

We have not added any new critterz to Nick's
zoo. I think we've reached our max! There

We have had some very big losses this year so far.

Our friend Dawn passed away as well as Nick's
fellow Cancer Warrior Kieran. Both were
exceptional people that we were blessed in know.
