8 months since the last update - oops - sorry!

But things have all been going really well
and I guess no news is good news in this case =)

Nick will be 13 years old in a little less
than a month. He is enjoying his new school.
The transfer from a charter to a public school
went very well.

Nick is in smaller classes with para-pros
available for extra help. And he is pulling
in mostly Bs! We are very proud of him! He
is getting help with speech theraphy still.
They are working right now on following one
step directions (hard for him still with his
slow processings skills) and also sentence
and paragraph structure. Nick is still about
3 years behind in Math and English, but is
working hard and doing his best. Nick has
made lots of new friends at the Jr High
School and is having a blast every Monday at
bowling club. Next week he is looking forward
to starting "weight training" in gym class.

This fall will be 5 years of remission!
I can't believe it's been that long and we
are finally almost there!

Nick's hearing loss has leveled off according
to his last doc visit which is great news.
And his hearing aids are working beautifully.
Nick has also been growing steadily since
starting on the growth hormone in June of 2005.
In the year and a half since then, he has grown
over 5 inches!!

Thank you very much to all who continue to
support and encourge Nick with cards, letters,
emails, e-cards, and guestbook signings. It
really means alot to him and never fails to
bring a smile to his face. And most of all,
thank you for remembering him in your prayers.
