April 2003 Hello Everyone & Happy Easter !
We hope this update finds you all well, and
happy. Nick's Uncle Jr. (TSgt. Henry R. Holland)
and Nick's cousin Justin Dodger are currently
serving our country over seas. Justin thru the
Navy and Jr. thru the Airforce.

*** We love and miss you guys and you are in our
prayers for a quick and safe return home.

And for all of you - our friends, with loved ones
serving in the armed forces - our thougths and
prayers are with them and you too. May they be
safe and well and may we all be reunited soon.

Nick is doing very well - his therapists are all
pleased with his progress lately! Looks like that
deep tissue massage is really paying off. Loosening
him up and getting him going! He has so much more
energy now it's amazing!! And more confidence too!
He is looking great too if I do say so myself - just
ck him out with "The Bunny" above - looking VERY happy
and healthy! (The Bunny was tickling him too)

All effects of the bad infection Nick had in is neck
are completely gone! Thanks so much for the prayer
power!! He isnt even stiff anymore!!! (see last
updates if you missed the last crisis)

******This week we went for a walk and Nick and I
walked 3 TIMES as far as we did this time last year!!

His balance and strength have improved alot and this
week end, Nick is going to try and ride his new bike
WITHOUT training wheels!! (He's been working up to it
mentally for awhile!)

Thanks again to all who sent Nick cards and gifts for
his birthday, and the cards and guestbook messages to
pick him up and encourage him. Nick sends you all BIG
thank yous, hugs, and his love. I am way behind in
thanking you all individually - and I apologize - please
know though we are very very gratefull for ALL of you and
all you do. Nick is a very lucky boy to have you all
supporting him with cards and gifts and most of all in
prayer.

Next MRI scans are in a month, so I will update then -
but we are confident that they will again show Nick to
be in remission!

Until then,thank you all,God Bless,and Happy Easter!
Pam, Bob, & Nick
